| | 📰 First Up In Food | | | | Latin pantry staples are gaining traction in mainstream retailers and natural food outlets as Loisa’s footprint expanded from roughly 500 retail doors to 5,500 in the past two years. Dynamic Discussion: Co-founder Scott Hattis believes Loisa is tapping into two distinct consumer groups: Latin American shoppers seeking premium, clean label versions of familiar items and consumers discovering Caribbean, Central and South American flavors. Hattis said Loisa’s higher price points give retailers a premium, higher-margin offering in a category historically dominated by lower-priced legacy brands like Goya. Loisa’s retail roster now includes Kroger, Albertsons, Publix, H-E-B, Harris Teeter, Target and Wegmans, among others.

What’s next? After proving it can scale distribution, Loisa’s next challenge is turning that footprint into a broader platform for Latin flavor – without losing the cultural authenticity that helped it earn the shelf space in the first place. Culture Check: Loisa is finding another growth lever in the broader rise of Latin culture. Hattis said the brand saw a visible spike across its metrics during Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl halftime performance and has increasingly fielded partnership opportunities from companies and organizations looking to connect with Latin consumers.
