Beverage sales ended the year on a positive note as non-alc drinks saw both dollar sales and volume growth accelerate in the final two weeks of December. 

Though an analysis from Goldman Sachs Equity Research of NielsenIQ data cautioned that the improvement is only “modest,” it’s an optimistic sign to see 6.1% dollar sales growth in the two-weeks ending December 27 alongside positive 1.7% volume growth, although 4.4% average pricing increases show inflation is still a significant presence in the industry.
