| | | | | Molson Coors told distributors last week it would disband its Northeast region and close the region’s NJ office. The company plans to fold “all frontline distributor- or retailer-facing roles” into an expanded East region, keeping those roles intact, according to a memo sent to company partners by president of U.S. sales Brian Feiro, and obtained by Brewbound.
The move will bring Molson Coors’ sales regions from 5 to 4: East (formerly Northeast and Southeast), Great Lakes, South Central and West.

| | Data Dive | | | | Thanksgiving helped bev-alc maintain its positive growth trajectory – at least compared to earlier this fall – Circana EVP, BevAl Scott Scanlon shared in this week’s off-premise scans report.
Total bev-alc dollar sales for the final week of November (data ending November 30) were up 14% compared to the prior week, reaching nearly $1.55 million. The industry remained in the red YoY in both dollar sales (-1.9%) and volume (-2.8%). Insiders can dive deeper into the data. |

Although rumors swirled over the weekend that the cuts could amount to as much as 40% of Pabst’s workforce, the spokesperson said those estimates were more than double the actual impact.
