| | Today's Top Story | | | | Island Brands USA, its founders and several related business entities are facing an investor lawsuit alleging fraud. Lisa Pollner and Caleb Fournier, a wife and husband who befriended Island co-founders Scott and Meghan Hansen, claim the Hansens breached their fiduciary duty and committed fraud by using hundreds of thousands of dollars invested in the lager brand for personal benefit. The lawsuit, which was filed August 28 in the Ninth Judicial Circuit in South Carolina’s Charleston County, also names MOTU and Padgett Thomas, limited liability companies based in Charleston, as defendants. | | Brewbound Headlines | | | | Fever-Tree is feeling good about its collaboration with Molson Coors as the British mixer brand posted 4% revenue growth in the U.S. in its H1 2025 earnings results, shared last week.
Although total brand revenue was generally flat for the first 6 months of the year, at £171 million (about $232.6 million), compared with £170.6 million (around $233.1 million) in 2024, the U.S. served as a bright spot for the brand’s performance as sales surpassed £62.4 million ($84.9 million).
