The parent company of Three Weavers Brewing (Inglewood, CA) has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy.

GRDN Hospitality filed Thursday, July 24 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California. The filing comes 4 years after Three Weavers founder Lynne Weaver and a group of investors bought the craft brewery back from craft collective CANarchy (now a part of Monster Brewing). Weaver had sold Three Weavers to CANarchy in 2018.

Brand extensions of some of Anheuser-Busch InBev’s (A-B) top brands helped the company outpace U.S. beer industry trends in Q2, the company shared Thursday in its quarterly earnings release. 

A-B’s U.S. beer business was boosted in the quarter by innovations from 2 of its stronger brands, Busch Light and Michelob Ultra, CEO Michel Doukeris shared.

Brew Hub’s (Lakeland, FL) next era has been solidified, several months after news broke that contract brewing company’s facility had been foreclosed by its bank.

Great Southern Copackers has acquired the company and building, and will rebrand it as Great Southern Beverages, co-founder and CEO Jeremy Roberts told Brewbound.
