| | 📝 Brewbound Headlines | | | | Farm Credit Mid-America allegedly ignored red flags while Uncle Nearest’s rogue CFO falsified financial reports, misappropriated funds for personal purchases and increased the whiskey brand's credit line from $35 million to $67 million, the whiskey company’s receiver alleged in a new counterclaim filed in the case. The new filing shines a light on the alleged fraudulent activity by Uncle Nearest’s former CFO Michael Senzak, which the Weavers previously shared in court. The filing also claims Senzaki admitted several actions to 3rd-party investigators. It also accuses Farm Credit Mid-America of negligence in administering the credit facility at the center of the whiskey brand’s receivership. Read more |
| | | | | The near-complete wind-down of RNDC’s national operations is sending shockwaves through the 3-tier system – triggering a wave of transitions and emboldening distributors to allegedly delay payments, according to suppliers. Meanwhile, the country’s largest spirits distributor has cut staff. RNDC’s collapse is having a cascading effect on supplier cash flow across the industry. Other major distributors have allegedly delayed payments, according to InvestBev founder Brian Rosen. InvestBev’s portfolio includes 61 brands, many of whom are not getting paid by the biggest and mid-sized distributors. Read more |

Anheuser-Busch InBev’s Michelob Ultra is equivalent to France in its dominance and highest odds to win.
